RUVANEE PIETERSZ VILHAUER is the author of THE MASK COLLECTORS (forthcoming from Little A / Amazon in 2019) and THE WATER DIVINER AND OTHER STORIES (forthcoming from University of Iowa Press in September 2018). She grew up in Sri Lanka and lived in India, Thailand, Canada and Australia before settling in the United States. Her short fiction has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and has appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Massachusetts Review, Notre Dame Review, The Summerset Review, Quiddity, Michigan Quarterly Review, and many other literary journals. She teaches psychology at New York University.
