MATT BARNEY, Ph.D. is the Founder and CEO of LeaderAmp, a firm with a patent-pending on a new system to accelerate leader development, using the latest science and mobile technology.   He has over 20 years of experience in senior and strategic global roles in large technology (Infosys, AT&T/Lucent, Motorola), healthcare (Sutter Health, Merck) and startup organizations (Virtual MindWorks, Anvea).   Dr. Barney’s fourth book he wrote as an expatriate in India, Leading Value Creation: Organizational Science, Bioinspiration and the Cue See Model (Palgrave Macmillan 2013).

Dr. Barney has published and presented on leadership, human capital, assessment and Six Sigma throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has authored five patents.  He holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa.  He is a Motorola Master Black Belt, Certified Risk Manager, and a Cialdini Method Certified Trainer.  In 2007, he was named “Future Leader” by Human Capital Magazine.
