MARNI BATES wrote her first full-length manuscript in high school, and was hired at age 19 to write her memoir, Marni, for HCI’s Louder Than Words series (selected by the New York Public Library for their Stuff for the Teen Age List). Her debut novel, Awkward, was optioned by The Disney Channel as a made-for-TV movie. She has five published novels in her Smith High School series, which have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian, and French. Her latest novel, DIAL EM FOR MURDER is forthcoming from Merit Press in summer 2016.
