LECIA CORNWALL was born in Toronto, and now lives in Calgary, Alberta, in the foothills of Canada’s beautiful Rocky Mountains, with two adult children, five cats, one crazy chocolate lab, and one very patient husband. After building a successful career as a freelance direct marketing writer, Lecia started her own business when her children were born so she could stay home and raise them. The lure of good books, both waiting to be read and written, was too much. When the family moved from Ottawa to Calgary, she took up writing historical fiction and romance full time. Her stories are filled with steamy passion, sexy heroes, the sweetness of true love, and enough intrigue and plot twists to keep her readers engaged until the very last page. Lecia’s first book, Secrets of a Proper Countess (Avon, 2011), won the 2011 National Readers Choice Award for Best First Book.
